Persons with permanent or temporary communication difficulties, in accordance with the Act of 19 August 2011 on Sign Language and Other Means of Communication (Journal of Laws 2023, item 20), may, when handling matters at the Office, use the assistance of a sign language interpreter and request that documents be prepared and provided in large print.
The need to communicate with the Office with the support of an interpreter should be reported at least 3 working days before the planned service date (excluding emergency situations). The Office will provide assistance on the requested date, or, if this is not possible, will propose an alternative convenient date.

Customer service is provided by the Department of Analyses and Information Sharing (Statistics Poland building, Block A, entrance from Trasa Łazienkowska). The data user room is located on the ground floor. The entrance is equipped with wide, automatic doors, a reception desk with a lowered counter, and a restroom for persons with disabilities. An induction loop is also available for persons with hearing impairments.

Architectural Accessibility of the Statistics Poland Building
- no thresholds at the main entrance that would hinder movement for persons with physical disabilities;
- movable stair platforms in the main hall for transporting wheelchairs;
- adequate width of circulation routes, posing no barrier to wheelchair users;
- elevators equipped with voice communication and tactile markings for blind and partially sighted persons;
- toilets adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.
The Public Information Bulletin website of Statistics Poland includes features that facilitate navigation for partially sighted users (font size adjustment and contrast change). The website does not use keyboard shortcuts that could interfere with assistive technologies (e.g. screen readers), the operating system, or users’ applications.
